Tools & Accessories
The hardware side of a hair routine: microneedling tools, applicators for minoxidil lotion, a brush for washing the scalp properly and a red light cap. None of these is a treatment on its own. What they do is make the products you already use easier to apply, more evenly, and more consistently — which is usually where routines fall down.
Everything here is sold as what it is. Where a tool has a limit worth knowing about before you buy, it is written on the product page rather than left out of it.

Frequently asked questions
Which minoxidil applicator should I choose?
The 3 ml Basic applicator suits a hairline, a parting or a small patch. The 8 ml Premium covers a large area in one fill. The applicator comb parts the hair as it spreads the lotion, which helps when hair covers the scalp.
Does an applicator change my dose?
No. Use the amount in your minoxidil's package leaflet; for the minoxidil lotions we sell, that is 1 ml twice a day. The applicators and the comb only help that dose reach the scalp instead of your hair.
Can I use them with minoxidil foam?
The applicators and the comb are made for lotion. Foam is worked into the scalp with your fingertips, as its leaflet describes.
Can I use a dermaroller or dermastamp with minoxidil?
Yes, but not straight after a session: wait around 24 hours before applying minoxidil, as the instructions for our rollers and stamp say. If you are new to microneedling, start with the 0.3 mm roller. Our guide to needle length explains the difference between 0.3, 0.5 and 1.5 mm.
How do I clean them?
Rinse the applicators and the comb and let them dry. Disinfect rollers and stamps before and after each use and keep them in their case. Replace the head when the needles feel blunt.
