Scalp Massager Shampoo Brush

Use it in the shower, once the shampoo is already on wet hair.

1. Wet the hair and work the shampoo in with your hands first, so there is lather for the brush to move.
2. Hold the brush in your palm — the anti-slip grip stays put with wet, soapy hands.
3. Work in small circles from the hairline back to the crown, then the sides and the back of the head, letting the bristles reach the scalp instead of dragging through the lengths.
4. Rinse the hair, rinse the brush and hang it to dry.

It can go into every wash, and on a dry scalp it also works on its own for a short massage between washes.

Two practical notes:

• With a medicated shampoo such as Nizoral, the point is contact time on the scalp — the brush is what gets the lather down there while it sits.
• Let the weight of your hand do the work. The bristles are meant to bend against the scalp; if it stings or the skin goes red, you are pressing too hard.
