Minoxidil Applicator Comb

Measure your dose with your own dropper first, then load the comb and comb it through.

1. Open the silicone seal on the spine of the comb.
2. Squeeze the measured dose from the dropper into the tank, usually two squeezes.
3. Close the seal and shake the comb two or three times with the teeth pointing down.
4. Comb slowly through the area you are treating, parting the hair as you go, until the tank is empty.

Use it as often as the product you have loaded tells you to apply. The comb does not change how often you apply anything, only how the dose is spread.

Two practical notes:

• The comb spreads the dose, it does not measure it. Draw the dose up with the dropper that came with your minoxidil before you fill the tank.
• Rinse it with warm water after use and let it dry before the next fill, so nothing dries inside the teeth.

For external use on the scalp only. Avoid contact with the eyes, and follow the directions and warnings on whichever product you load into it. Keep out of reach of children.

This is a tool rather than a formula, so there is nothing in it until you fill it. The body is transparent so the level in the tank stays visible, the spine holds the tank, the teeth are hollow so the liquid can pass through them, and the fill opening is closed with a silicone seal.

Care: rinse the comb through with warm water after each use and let it dry before you fill it again. Nothing then dries inside the teeth, which is what blocks an applicator of this kind. Check the teeth and the seal before each fill and stop using the comb if either is cracked or damaged.

The comb carries the product but does not change it. The directions, warnings and ingredient list for whatever you load into it are printed on that product's own packaging and still apply. Please read them before first use, particularly if you have a known allergy or a sensitive scalp.

Does the comb measure my minoxidil dose?

No. It spreads a dose, it does not measure one. If you need an exact 1 ml, draw it up with the dropper that came with your minoxidil or use the 3 ml applicator, then load the comb with it. If measuring is the part of the routine you wanted solved, this is not the tool to buy.

How is it different from the 3 ml and 8 ml applicators?

Those are pressure applicators. You hold the tip against one area and a measured dose comes out where you press, which suits a defined patch. The comb spreads a dose across a parting line as you comb, which suits a wider area. They do different jobs and a lot of people own both.

Can I use it with hair oils as well as minoxidil?

Yes. It is made for minoxidil lotion and hair oils, and it is filled and used the same way for either.
