Kirkland Signature Minoxidil Foam 5% for Men - 1 Month Supply

Half a capful, twice a day, morning and evening.

1. Start with dry hair and a dry scalp.
2. Part your hair to expose the thinning area.
3. Dispense half a capful onto your fingers. Cool your hands under the tap first, as foam melts on warm skin.
4. Work it into the scalp itself, not into the lengths of your hair.
5. Spread evenly across the area you are treating.
6. Wash your hands straight away.
7. Let it dry, usually a few minutes, before styling.

Half a capful twice daily is the full dose whatever the size of the area. Using more does not work faster.

For a first month specifically:

• Pin it to something you already do — brushing your teeth works for most people.
• Photograph the top of your head on day one, in the same light. In three months you will want that photo.

The foam is flammable while wet — keep it away from open flame. For external use only. Adult men. Read the package leaflet before use.

Will one month be enough to see anything?

No, and be sceptical of anyone who says otherwise. First new hairs typically show around months three to four. A month tells you about tolerance and routine, not results.

Foam or lotion for a first try?

The foam dries faster and has no propylene glycol, so it suits sensitive scalps. The lotion costs less per month. Both are 5% minoxidil and work equally well.

My hair is shedding more than before. Should I stop?

No. Extra shedding between weeks two and eight is common and shows the treatment starting to work. It settles on its own.

The foam melts before I can apply it.

Your hands are too warm. Run them under cold water and dry them before dispensing.

What happens if I stop after this can?

Nothing dramatic — a month is too short to have gained anything to lose. Minoxidil is a routine rather than a course.

Are there side effects?

Scalp irritation can occur, though less often with foam than lotion. Unwanted facial hair can result from transfer, which washing your hands prevents. The leaflet lists everything — if you have a heart condition or are unsure, ask your pharmacist or doctor first.
