How to use it
Wet the hair, apply, lather well, rinse, and repeat. Use every 3–4 days, about twice a week, for up to 8 weeks, then as often as needed. With long or very dry hair you can still add your usual conditioner. Stop and ask a doctor if a rash appears or there is no improvement after 2–4 weeks.

What to expect
- First washes: Less itching and fewer flakes within the first one or two washes for many people.
- 2–4 weeks: Flaking should be clearly under control. If not, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
- After 8 weeks: As needed. Dandruff tends to return if you stop completely, so an occasional wash stays useful.
The honest part
- Not a hair loss treatment: The label covers dandruff. We make no hair-growth claim for any Nizoral.
- Minoxidil: the right order: Wash, rinse, let the scalp dry, then apply minoxidil to the dry scalp. Shampooing after minoxidil rinses the dose away; shampooing before it does not.
- Not the biggest Nizoral we sell: The 1% shampoo also comes in 400 ml. Choose the 2-in-1 for the conditioning, not for the size.
