How to use it
Dispense a small amount and emulsify in your hands. Apply to wet hair, lather thoroughly and rinse well. Follow with No.5. Suitable for every wash. Use No.3 before shampooing once a week; swap in No.4C every week or two if hair feels coated.

Where it sits in the routine
- Every wash: A small amount, lather, rinse, then No.5.
- Once a week: No.3 before the shampoo for the repair step.
- Every 1–2 weeks: No.4C instead of No.4 when hair feels coated or dull.

- Medium to coarse: Olaplex positions No.4 for medium to coarse textures and sells No.4FINE for fine hair. Fine hair can use No.4 sparingly or alternate with a lighter shampoo.
- Biotin is in it, hair growth is not: The formula lists biotin and hyaluronic acid. Neither makes a shampoo grow hair, and we make no such claim.
