0.3 mm · 540 needles · Forgiving of technique

A scalp roller at the shallowest commonly used needle depth. If you are new to microneedling, this is the one to start with: 0.3 mm is short enough to be forgiving of technique, which longer needles are not. A tool, not a hair loss treatment.

  • 0.3 mm, lowest-risk depth
  • 540 needles, fewer passes
  • Storage case included

What it does well

  • 0.3 mm needle depth: the shallowest and lowest-risk option
  • 540 needles across the head for even coverage in fewer passes
  • Sized for scalp use, with a handle that gives control across the whole scalp
  • Supplied with a storage case to keep the head clean between uses
  • The sensible way to learn microneedling before considering deeper heads

What it is not

  • Not a hair loss treatment: minoxidil is the licensed over-the-counter option
  • Not for use on broken, irritated, sunburnt or infected skin

How to use it

Disinfect the head, start on a clean, dry scalp and roll gently with light pressure: a few passes horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Once a week to start. Disinfect again, let it dry and store it in its case. Leave around 24 hours before your next minoxidil application.

  • Stainless steel needles
  • Ergonomic handle
  • Storage case
  • One person, one roller
  • Replace when dull

The honest part

  • A tool, not a treatment: We do not claim that rolling your scalp regrows hair. People use a roller as part of a wider routine; if you want a licensed treatment for hereditary hair loss, that is minoxidil.
  • Minoxidil needs 24 hours: Microneedling temporarily opens the skin and increases how much of any topical is absorbed into your bloodstream. Skip a session rather than doubling up.
  • One person, one roller: A roller is a personal item, like a razor. Never share it, disinfect it every time and replace it once the needles feel dull or look bent.

  • Not a hair loss treatment: minoxidil is the licensed over-the-counter option

Good to know

A tool, not a treatment: we make no hair-regrowth claim for it. Minoxidil is the licensed over-the-counter treatment for hereditary hair loss. For external use only, not on broken, irritated, sunburnt or infected skin. Keep out of reach of children. If your scalp becomes sore, inflamed or infected, stop and speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
