Pick the shallowest head that does the job, use light pressure, and apply nothing to the scalp afterwards.

1. Choose your head and fit it to the handle. If in doubt, choose the shorter one.
2. Disinfect the head before use and let it dry.
3. Start on a clean, dry scalp. Never roll over broken, irritated, sunburnt or infected skin.
4. Roll gently over the target area — a few passes horizontally, vertically and diagonally.
5. Do not apply heavy pressure. Depth comes from the needle length you selected, not from how hard you push.
6. Lift between directions rather than dragging across the scalp.
7. Disinfect thoroughly after use and return the head to its case.

Do not apply minoxidil or any other topical product immediately afterwards. Wait around 24 hours.

Recovery time increases with depth. At 0.5 mm most people leave several days between sessions; at 1.0–1.5 mm the gap is longer still, often two to three weeks. Rolling again before your scalp has recovered is how people cause lasting irritation.

• Replace heads once needles feel dull or look bent.
• Stop immediately if your scalp becomes sore, inflamed or does not settle between sessions.

Which depth should I use?

The shallowest one that suits what you are doing. If you are asking the question at all, start at 0.3 mm with the single roller rather than this kit.

Can I apply minoxidil straight after?

No. Wait around 24 hours. Freshly needled skin absorbs far more into the bloodstream, and the deeper heads make that more significant.

How often can I use it?

It depends entirely on depth. Several days between sessions at 0.5 mm; often two to three weeks at 1.0–1.5 mm. Let the scalp fully recover before going again.

Should it bleed?

Pinpoint bleeding can occur at longer needle depths. Anything more than that means too much pressure, too much depth, or both. Stop and use a shorter head.

Will it regrow my hair?

We are not claiming that. It is a tool used as part of a routine. Minoxidil is the licensed over-the-counter treatment for hereditary hair loss.

Is there a difference between the black and pink?

Only the colour. The heads and depths are identical.
