A lightweight oil that does two jobs: heat protection before you style, and shine after. One or two drops is a full application, which is why a 30 ml bottle lasts far longer than it looks like it will.

It absorbs rather than sitting on the surface, so it adds gloss without the heavy, greasy finish most hair oils leave. That is what makes it usable on fine hair, which is unusual for an oil.

Why 30 ml is not as small as it looks

Fair question, since the cream is 100 ml at a similar price. The answer is the dose: you use a drop or two of this against a pea-sized amount of cream. For most people a bottle lasts several months, and using more does not improve the result — it just makes hair look oily.

No.7 or No.6 — which leave-in do you want?

  • No.7 is an oil. Choose it for shine, softness and heat protection. Lighter, and the safer option for fine hair.
  • No.6 is a cream. Choose it for frizz, flyaways and hair that needs actual control rather than gloss.

If you use hot tools regularly, No.7 is the one that earns its keep. If your hair is frizzy rather than dull, No.6 is the better buy.

Where it sits in the range

No.7 is a finishing product, used after washing and styling. It does not replace No.3, which is the treatment that does the repair work.

One or two drops. Genuinely — this is the most over-applied product in the range.

  1. Dispense one or two drops into your palm. Add more only after you have seen how far that goes.
  2. Rub your palms together to warm and spread the oil.
  3. Apply to the mid-lengths and ends of damp or dry hair. Keep it off the roots.
  4. Comb through if you want even distribution.
  5. Style as usual. Do not rinse.

Before heat styling: apply to damp hair and comb through before you blow-dry or use hot tools.

As a finishing oil: warm a single drop and smooth over dry, styled hair to add shine and settle flyaways.

Two practical notes:

  • Fine hair: start with one drop and apply to the ends only.
  • If hair looks oily, you used too much. It cannot be fixed by brushing it out, so err low.

No.7 is an oil for shine and heat protection; No.6 is a cream for frizz and control. Heat styling means No.7. Frizz means No.6.

Is it a heat protectant?

Yes. Apply it to damp hair and comb through before blow-drying or using hot tools.

Will it make fine hair greasy?

Not at one drop applied to the ends. It is the lighter of the two leave-ins and the better choice for fine hair — over-application is what causes greasiness, not the product.

Do I rinse it out?

No. It stays in.

Can I use it with No.6?

Yes, though most people do not need both. If you do, use a very small amount of each and apply the cream first.
